Pulse trends, AI-generated angles, and competitor content gaps tell you what's worth making. Before you spend an hour in the booth.
Content Intelligence helps podcasters decide what to record by combining Pulse (trend & news intelligence from Wikipedia and editorial sources), AI keyword and angle ideas, and competitor content gaps. Surfaced as a ranked, scored, savable list.
We monitor Wikipedia edits, news mentions, search trends, and editorial coverage in your category. Surfacing what's spiking before it's saturated.
For each trend or topic, our model proposes podcast-shaped angles. Episode framings that fit your show's voice, not generic news takes.
We map which topics your closest competitors are covering, and which they're missing, so your queue prioritizes uncontested ground.
Pulse pulls signal from Wikipedia traffic, news indexes, and category-specific editorial outlets. Surfaces topics gaining attention this week. We mark each with editorial maturity ("emerging", "in coverage", "saturated") so you can pick your moment.
You don't make episodes about "GEDmatch". You make episodes about a person, a case, a question. Our angle generator turns a topic into 5–10 podcast-shaped framings tuned to your show's voice and length.
We track your audience-overlap competitors' published topics, then surface gaps: topics they all cover (saturated), topics they all miss (your opportunity), and topics you alone are positioned to win.

6,000+ podcasts optimizing on PodSEO
“With PodSEO, we created a clear and accessible digital experience designed to communicate innovation and AI in a simple, engaging way.”
Pulse works best for shows in categories with active news, editorial coverage, or Wikipedia activity: true crime, tech, politics, business, science, sports. Pure interview shows benefit more from the angle generator and competitor gaps than from trend surfacing.
Google Trends tells you a topic is searched. Pulse tells you a podcast-shaped topic is gaining editorial momentum but isn't yet covered by your category. The signal mix is calibrated for episode planning, not blog SEO.
The generator is fine-tuned on your existing show metadata, episode titles, and (if you've enabled transcripts) episode language. The voice match is good. It's not your finished script, but it gives a producer something specific to react to.
We seed competitor sets from real audience overlap signals (who your category co-listens with) and let you add or remove. Most accounts adjust the default set in the first session and then leave it alone.
