Weak metadata in. Ranked rewrites out.

Your title scores 5/10. SEO Copilot writes 2–3 GPT candidates, scores each against your real keywords, and tells you which one wins — before a single character ships. LUCIA is the chat way to ask for the same work.

SEO Copilot is PodSEO's rewriting workspace. It generates GPT metadata candidates for title, author, description, and episodes — each scored locally against your real keywords. LUCIA is the chat surface over the same tools: scoring, planning, tracking. You pick. You ship.

How it works

Score. Rewrite. Pick. Ship.

1

Every field gets a number.

Title, author, description, cover art, episode titles. Each scored 0–10 against your tracked keywords — with the specific reason it lost points. No vague advice.

2

Weak fields get rewritten.

Two to three GPT candidates per field. Each one re-scored locally, against your real keywords, using the same scorer Search Visibility runs. The winner is obvious before you copy a word.

3

Or just ask LUCIA.

Same engine, conversational. "Score this draft." "Plan an episode around forensic genealogy." "Track this competitor." LUCIA calls the same product actions you would click — never your podcast host. You stay in control of what ships.

Capability 01

Title, author, description — rewritten and ranked.

SEO Copilot reads your live feed, your tracked keywords, and the directory scoring rules. Out come 2–3 candidates per field — each re-scored locally, so the winner is a number, not a vibe. You see exactly what the lift will be before a character ships.

  • Keyword-aware: primaries front-loaded. Secondaries woven natural. No stuffing.
  • Format-aware: the "Brand | Keyword Tagline" pattern Apple and Spotify reward.
  • Brand-safe: identity preserved. Author's real name kept. No spam prose.
  • Cached: only re-runs when feed, keywords, or cover art actually change. Cheap LLM bill.

Capability 02

Score every episode before it ships. Plan the next one with intent.

The Planner scores each episode against your declared keywords, surfaces the ones you're already using but not tracking, and runs a workflow you can finish: planned → recorded → shipped. Same workspace covers next-episode planning, strategy analysis, and the SEO scorecard.

  • Episode SEO scoring: title + description, 0–10, against primaries and secondaries.
  • Cover-art vision review: 55×55 thumbnail readability, contrast, hierarchy — AI-checked.
  • Strategy Analysis: topic mix, competitor delta, missing angles. Not a generic SEO report.
  • Status workflow: planned → recorded → shipped. Things stop dying in your head.

Capability 03

LUCIA · the chat way to drive the same workspace.

Same engine. Different surface. LUCIA calls the same product tools you'd click — score text, pull rewrite candidates, track keywords, plan episodes, mark recommendations done. Faster when you'd rather ask than navigate. She never writes to your podcast host, never publishes, never ships behind your back. You stay the decision.

  • Scoped to your show: reads your keywords, rankings, competitors, distribution, notifications.
  • 40+ wired tools: live product actions — not retrieval-only chitchat.
  • Read-only on the outside: never pushes to RSS, host, or directory. You ship.
  • Knowledge-base grounded: PodSEO docs under the hood, not generic SEO blog spam.

9.0 / 10. Two primaries front-loaded, 50 chars, reads natural. One improvement: consider replacing "Podcast" with "Cases" — your audience already knows the format and you'd free up keyword real estate.

Score text and metadata on the fly.

Paste any draft. LUCIA scores it against your keywords with the same scorer used in the Planner.

Prepare a metadata rewrite.

Ask for new title or description candidates. LUCIA pulls feed + keywords and runs the same suggestion pipeline.

Plan a new episode.

"Plan an episode about X for next Tuesday." LUCIA creates the planned episode and attaches the keywords.

Track or untrack keywords.

Add to your tracker by name. LUCIA classifies it primary or secondary and confirms before writing.

Check rankings + distribution.

Live answers from your real data — rankings, top rankers for a keyword, distribution health, episode positions.

Close out what you shipped.

"I copied the new subtitle to my host." LUCIA marks the recommendation done and notes the date on your timeline.

The loop

Diagnose → rewrite → ship → re-check.

Search Visibility names what's broken. SEO Copilot writes the fix. You copy it to your host. The Planner remembers what shipped. Search Visibility re-scores after directories re-index — usually 7–10 days.

Frequently asked

Does SEO Copilot push changes to my podcast host?

No. PodSEO never writes to your host or RSS feed. SEO Copilot generates candidates and scores them — you copy the winning text into your host (Spreaker, Buzzsprout, Captivate, etc.). This is intentional: hosts treat metadata writes carefully, and the directories re-index on your existing publish cadence. Direct host integration is on the roadmap.

Which model powers the rewrites?

Title, author, and description suggestions run on GPT-4.1-mini with structured output, prompted on the exact directory scoring rules (length, keyword density, format conventions). Cover-art readability uses a vision model. Each candidate is then scored locally — not by the LLM — using the same scorer that drives the rest of the Planner, so the score you see is the same score Search Visibility will report.

Will the rewrites still sound like my show?

The system prompt enforces brand-safety: preserve identity, keep the author's real name, no keyword stuffing, no spammy prose. You also get 2–3 variants per field so you can pick the one that fits. You're never forced to ship anything.

What can LUCIA actually do — versus just answer questions?

LUCIA has 40+ tools wired into PodSEO — the same tools the UI calls when you click. She scores text, prepares rewrite candidates, creates planned episodes, tracks or untracks keywords, adds competitors, fetches rankings or distribution health, marks recommendations implemented. What she doesn't do: publish to your host, write to your RSS, or push to a directory. Outbound boundary stays with you. Every action is scoped to your account — she never reads or writes other users' data.

Does this overlap with Search Visibility?

They sit next to each other in the loop. Search Visibility diagnoses — it scores every metadata field and tells you what to fix. SEO Copilot treats — it generates the rewrites and lets LUCIA execute the actions. Most users open both in adjacent tabs.

Does it work with episodes that already shipped?

Yes. The Planner scores every shipped episode pulled from your feed and lets you back-fill rewrites. Most podcasters start by fixing the top-trafficked 10–20 episodes, not the whole catalog.
